Android Can continously Grow 40% in Q2 2011

IDC estimates that by 2011 there will be growth of smart phones reached 55 percent. Then the operating system which is experiencing rapid growth?

Research institute IDC expects Android, which each beats Symbian operating system as the leading worldwide since the fourth quarter of 2010, can grow to more than 40 percent in the second half of 2011.

"This is the underlying growth of the smartphone operating system landscape shifts quickly," said by Ramon Llamas, senior research analyst with IDC's Mobile Phone, as reported by Cellular News, Friday (10/06/2011).

"Lately users become more sophisticated about what types of experiences offered by different operating systems. System developers will try to provide more intuitive and seamless experience, but will also look to differentiate themselves with the main features and characteristics," he said again.

Especially for Android, a significant and growing list of vendors who have made the Android platform each strategy that encourages the growth of Android smartphone itself.

While Symbian will continue to lose share over the forecast period as the biggest supporter because Nokia will make the transition to Windows Phone smartphone strategy.
