iPhone users spend twice times playing game than any other mobile devices

CALIFORNIA - Nielsen has announced a new study says that the average iPhone users spend twice as big in the game than any other mobile devices. As quoted from Neowin, Thursday (07/07/2011), the study said that within 30 days, 93 percent of customers pay to download an application form of the game. This indicates that the game is a profitable category for developers.

The study also mentions that the average iPhone user within 30 days spent 14.7 hours playing mobile games, while the Android handset users only spend approximately 9.3 hours. While users of other platforms such as Windows 7 Phone and Blackberry to spend only approximately 7.8 hours per month.

Also revealed that 64 percent of users to download games (free and paid) within 30 days, followed by weather application with the number 60 percent, while social networking applications are third with 56 percent figure. Meanwhile, other types of applications received less attention. 93 percent of users prefer to download the application and pay gaming entertainment type applications (87 percent).

Then for the affairs of fame, gaming applications on smart phones also beat the educational applications. 64 percent of users choose games, while only 11 percent of users who download education applications.
