Beyond that, 20 million devices in the third quarter of 2011 and 8 million devices in the fourth quarter to be shipped will be the iPhone 3G and iPhone 4. Sources at DigiTimes says that Apple will ship approximately 6 million iPhone unit 5 in the third quarter, and then 20 million iPhone unit 5 in the fourth quarter of 2011.
Nevertheless, the results issued by DigiTimes is quite different from their previous reports. Since the beginning of this month DigiTimes reported that manufacturing firms Pegatron will produce 10 million iPhones 5 for shipping in September.
Finally, a Japanese news site, Kodawarisan, said that Apple will hold a launch of the iPhone 5 on September 7. Apple currently has yet to comment in response to the news.
For the iPhone 5 itself has yet to clear. Over the last few months, many rumors that the device will be launched in September or October this year.
