Foxconn will become the manufacturing facility in the world's largest advanced smartphone



BEIJING
- Supplier of Apple, Foxconn is preparing a master plan for the factory. Foxconn will make a major expansion, which could make it a manufacturing facility in the world's largest advanced smartphone.

According to China Daily, as reported by Apple Insider, Tuesday (12/27/2011), reported that Apple's manufacturing partner is planning to expand the size of the Science Park Foxconn factory in Zhengzhou. Currently, the factory will produce 200 iPhones per day.

Foxconn plans to spend additional funds $ 1, 1 billion for the manufacturing facility located in the Henan province. Massive expansion is expected to boost sales revenue of USD20 billion in 2012.

IPhone is a major manufacturer currently has 130 employees working in Zhengzhou facility. Overall Foxconn employs 1.2 million people.

Besides China, the company also operates a production facility in Brazil that produces only a particular model iPhone. If the local legal issues there has been completed, the company will build a manufacturing iPad in the region.

A rumor also suggests, Foxconn will start producing the third generation iPad in January. iPad is expected to have the same pixel with the iPhone 4 and Retina Display on iPhone 4S.
