HTC introduced a new smartphone called Droid DNA. As quoted from Engadget, Tuesday (13/11/2012), the smartphone is equipped with a screen size of 5 inches, larger than the smartphones in general.
5-inch screen in HTC Droid DNA supports a resolution of 1920 x 1080 and has a density of up to 440ppi. Density is higher than the iPhone 5 (326 ppi) and the Samsung Galaxy S III (306 ppi).
The screen used Super LCD3 manifold and is coated with Gorilla Glass 2.
With a large screen, the HTC Droid DNA is equipped with a high specification. The device uses a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro 1.5 GHz quad-core processor and 2GB of RAM.
As the operating system, the Droid uses Android version 4.1 DNA or commonly known as Jelly Bean.
Like most high-end smartphones in circulation lately, HTC Droid DNA has already completed with two cameras, one on the back and one on the front.
On the back, users will find an 8 megapixel camera with f/2.0 28mm wide-angle lens, BSI sensor, Image Chip, and the ability to record 1080p video.
At the front, there is a 2.1 megapixel camera f/2.0 which also features the ability to record video with 1080p resolution. Front camera can also take pictures with angles up to 88 degrees.
