Metro design for Nokia Normandy, first Nokia Android

This is Metro design for Nokia Normandy, first Nokia Android and it looks similar to Windows phone.

Leaked updated information on the " Normandy " , the code name for Nokia's first Android deviice , continues to flow .

One of the latest leak , reported by VR - Zone , Thursday ( 16/01/2014 ) , shows a mockup Nokia Normandy which appears to show part Home screen . According to the observations, the display seems to have the design of " Metro " style of Windows Phone .

Metro Design is identical and characterizes the operating system Windows 8 and Windows developed by Microsoft . Metro refers to the style plots or boxes .



According to sources who have seen these devices , it is at first glance seems adopt Normandy Metro look . But not exactly like the one used on the Lumia .

Some applications for Android are also said to have run smoothly on the device . Including , the Android version of BlackBerry Messenger .

Nokia Normandy itself is said to run the Android operating system that has been modified , so that Nokia can freely modify the display interface .

Well , with that freedom , not surprising that Nokia would modify the Android interface on the Normandy so closely as possible with Windows Phone , the operating system used on the Lumia series . In this way , Nokia will not lose the characteristic of the device , although it uses Android .

Problem specifications , leaked another load of Normandy AnTuTu benchmark results show that the device is amplified 200 Snapdragon processor , Android OS 4.4.1 Kitkat , and 5 megapixel camera . The 4-inch screen with a resolution of 854 x 480 pixels .

Other features , as seen in the picture , include support for dual - SIM card and also a choice of 6 colors .

No one knows , whether Nokia will release Normandy to the market or not . Even so , many predict , the Finnish company will introduce these devices at the Mobile World Congress ( MWC ) 2014.
