Norton Mobile Security for Android 2.0

Lookout Security, Internet security research firm, noted in the last six months, the attacks of malicious programs on Android's doubled.

Until now, there are about 6 billion downloads Android applications. However, because of its open-source, Android vulnerable to attack by malicious programs.

Android is the most widely used operating system. According to research firm Nielsen, its market share reached 43 percent at the end of August.

To prevent such crimes, Symantec launches latest version of the Android security application, Norton Mobile Security for Android 2.0.

Symantec itself found that the number of malicious programs that are unique to Android increased four-fold from a year ago.

In this section, Norton Mobile Security for Android 2.0 is applied to the device Android HTC Desire S.

Installation Process

The installation process Norton Mobile Security for Android 2.0 is quite easy. All the instructions easy to follow. The process did not take long.

By enabling all these functions, your phone can be controlled remotely. How, just by sending a short message or SMS.

If you want to know where your phone is lost, simply send an SMS Remote Locate to your number. Google will give the coordinates of mobile phones and the possibility of returning to your hand is big enough.

If you want to lock your phone, simply send an SMS Remote Lock. While the SIM Card Lock is a prime feature of Norton Mobile Security.

These features are rarely found in a type of mobile security. When activated, the phone will reject the new SIM card is inserted.


Call & SMS Blocking

In addition to preventing theft of information, Norton Mobile Security for Android 2.0 can block incoming calls or SMS that you do not want.
