Google discontinue Gmail apps on Blackberry smartphone
Google's decision to discontinue support for the Blackberry Gmail apps on Blackberry devices lacing adds that in certain countries, such as the United States and several European countries, which began to decrease in popularity.
Google decided to no longer provide the Gmail application for Blackberry. Existing users will not get any official support anymore.
It was raised the official Google through the Google Apps blog. Termination Gmail for Blackberry will be done per 22 November 2011.
Users who currently use the Gmail application for Blackberry can continue to use these applications. However, Google said, start date they will no longer provide official support.
Instead, Google suggests users to access Gmail through the browser. "Over the past year, we are making great efforts to bring the experience of Gmail on the mobile browser and will continue to do so," said Google's official statement.
Blackberry users who access your Gmail account e-mail from the Blackberry default not be affected by this. Access a Gmail account can still be done, but its a little different than access through Gmail apps.
