Iconia Tablet Tab A200 will be available worldwide in the near future, but Acer has not announced the price information.

Acer introduced its new tablet Iconia Tab A200 on Friday (11/02/2011). Acer Android Tablet has a screen with dimensions of 10.1 inches and is equipped with 1 GHz processor dual-core Nvidia Tegra 2.

Specifications owned Iconia A200 specifications can be called "normal" for tablets Android 3.2 Honeycomb for using 10.1 inches with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels, dual-core processor Tegra 2, and 1GB of RAM.

Surprisingly enough, Iconia A200 is not equipped with rear camera, to photograph and there is only 2MP front camera for video calls.

In addition, the tablet is also not the thinnest on the market because it has dimensions of 260 x 12.4 x 175 mm and weighs 720 grams. Dimensions and weight of the tablet is just a little adrift with its predecessor, Iconia A500.

Acer offers two storage capacity in this tablet, 8 GB and 16 GB and with two color options titanium metallic gray or red.

From the existing specifications, it looks like Acer will be positioned as a tablet Iconia A200 at an economical price.

Although Iconia A200 was launched with Android 3.2 Honeycomb, Acer promises to upgrade it to Android Ice Cream Sandwich in January next year.
