This scheme is a new alternative in an effort to make money for game publishers. Currently, the schemes 'Freemium' is among the most popular. This scheme is to exempt download games but charge a fee for certain things in the game (in-app purchase).

Apple now allows game publishers to offer their services on a subscription basis. It's like people can subscribe to magazines, newspapers or videos on its Apple App Store.

Big Fish games will be the first game publishers to take advantage of this new scheme. They offer several games iPad subscription costs 6.99 U.S. dollars per month. The system has to offer BigFish is play games via online streaming. That is, every time I want to play, iPad users should always connect to the internet.

As publisher of a magazine or newspaper, Apple will get a share of 30 percent of all users who subscribe through iTunes games. Price promotions from the Big Fish is 4.99 U.S. dollars, but the normal price 6.99 U.S. dollars.

This new scheme could be a new trend among game publishers to IOS. Especially for those who have a lot of game titles, such as Electronic Arts, Digital Chocolate, Gameloft and Zynga or other.
