Samsung targets, a quarter of smartphones in circulation in 2014 brings 16-megapixel sensor camera (MP).
So far, the majority of high-end smartphones carrying the 8 MP camera and has recently started to increase the number of vendors a 16MP camera sensor.
Reported Unwiredview, Thursday (07/11/2013), Samsung wants 25 percent of the total handsets shipped with a 16MP camera.
According to sources, Sony being one of them on manufacture that can make a camera module with a 13MP sensor. However, a number of small-scale enterprises such as Powerlogics, Partron, and Camsys also been able to make the camera module with the same quality.
