Cellphone can upload Photo Sync


Facebook officially launched a new feature called "Photo Sync". This feature can automatically upload photos on the phone to Facebook.

Indeed this feature already tested since last August to a number of Android users and iOS users follow. Today Facebook introduced the feature to all mobile users.

This feature of Photo Sync is causing some controversy because they could violate privacy. But some are not disputed. As quoted from Techradar, Monday (12/03/2012), if you do not like it, the user can disable this feature and delete the photos contained in the album folder private.


When activated, Photo Sync will upload all the photos taken with a mobile device into a personal user folder on the Facebook album called "synced from Phone". More pictures can be deleted, made ​​private or shared publicly.

For users of the iPad and iPhone, Photo Sync only works if their device has been upgraded to iOS 6. Unlike Android devices, this feature can work on any Android device.

After allowing users to sync photos from the device, the Facebook application will start uploading the photo (up to 2 GB) to Facebook.

Frequency depends upload photos to their respective users. Photo synchronization process can be done via WiFi, via the network operator or both.
