CALIFORNIA - As quoted from Pocket-Lint, Tuesday (26/07/2011), the HTC has appointed Scott Croyle, Vice President of Design, to fill the vacancy left by Horace Luke.
It happened that Horace Luke, was resigned from HTC for personal reasons
The man responsible for the overall design of the HTC phones for 5 years, Horace Luke, resigned for personal reasons.
"Horace Luke, HTC's Chief Innovation Officer, has resigned for personal reasons," said the HTC.
"Horace went on HTC's innovation culture and create a powerful design for consumers. We are delighted about his contribution over the years, and we hope he is successful in the future," he added.
Horace Luke when the HTC has become one of the greatest strengths of the Taiwanese companies, ranging from other handset manufacturers such as O2 and Orange, to become its own famous brand.
"I came to the HTC with three main objectives, to create something new, proving that I was able to change the culture, and create products that can change someone's life," Luke said in an interview in late 2010.
"I was involved in all details of HTC products. Whether it's software, online strategy, branding, industrial design, and others," he added.
Parties HTC says that Luke will soon be replaced by Scott Croyle, Vice President of Design HTC, who now leads the agency's HTC One & Co. in San Francisco, California.
HTC in recent months have launched many products such as tablets Flyer, EVO 3D, and Sensation, which makes it even more to exist in the competitive mobile market.
