Toshiba-released Portege Z830's thinner than R830

The launch of Toshiba ultrabook, Portege Z830, is certainly to "enliven" ultrabook market competition. Previously, Acer has released Aspire S3 at the end of last September and it's followed by ultrabook Asus with its products, Zenbook in early November.

Toshiba released its inaugural ultrabook, Portege Z830 which uses an Intel Core ultra low voltage (ULV) second generation and has a thickness of only 15.99 mm. Ultrabook is 40 percent thinner than the Portege R830 series has been launched earlier.
